A Message from the Master of the Lodge



Dear Brothers,

With the Holiday season behind us, I wish all of you a Happy and Healthy New Year! It is with great pleasure I have had
the opportunity to be Master of such a great lodge, "Wallkill 627". We have had so many successful events occur since
commencement in September. "Great men make Great things happen." To list some of our accomplishments, we
marched proudly in two community parades with an extremely large contingency of Brothers. We had a very successful
"Child ID Program" during the Walden Harvest Festival. A great breakfast and Highway/Property clean up simultaneously.
A successful Blood Drive and one of our biggest events this year, The "140th Anniversary Dinner Dance" which we
proudly raised and donated over $11,600 to Hospice.

It is with joy we have Entered, Passed and Raised 8 new Brothers this fall class. Also, have balloted on 13 petitioners for
the spring class.  There will be some minor changes to the schedule of this springs activities to afford the great undertaking
of such a large class.  The honor is truly ours as we continue to grow as a Lodge and spread Masonic Light within our
community. Clearly the Brothers of Wallkill 627, illustrate the character which makes Freemasonry a special fraternal
organization in which any man would like to be part of.

Brothers,

Dues notices are out for 2008 and the response has been good.  There are still a few Brothers that owe for 2007.  If there
is a problem with paying, please contact Cliff Medley or Scott Geiger so we can work out a program that you can work
with. Brothers we currently have received petitions for the 2008 fall class, it is imperative that you present petitions as
soon as possible.

Grand Lodge sponsors an Education Assistance for college students. It is open to children and grandchildren of Masons
in New York State. I should be receiving applications shortly. If you are interested, please contact me and I will send
